I would like to register to attend an Exporta conference, how can I do this?
You can register either on the website or by fax, e-mail, telephone or post.

  • On the website please go to www.exportagroup.com, please scroll down to the conference you wish to register and click on ‘book online’.
  • To register by fax, please complete the booking form on the back of the brochure and fax to +44 (0)20 8673 8662.
  • To e-mail your registration, please send the name of the delegate, job title, company address, e-mail address and telephone number to events@exportagroup.com
  • To register by telephone please call Anna Gisby on Tel: +44 (0)20 8673 9666.
  • To register by post please send the completed registration form to Anna Gisby, Exporta Events, 4 Hillgate Place, London SW12 9ER, UK.

What is included in the conference fee?
The conference fee includes your place at the conference, conference materials (inc delegate list and access to speaker presentations), refreshments at times specified on the conference programme and lunch. 

Am I eligible to register for the exporter/importers conference fee?
To register for this fee you need to either export and/or import goods into a country.

How can I make a hotel booking?
When you register for the conference, an e-mail will be sent to you confirming your place at the event and with information on how to book your hotel accommodation.  We suggest that you book your accommodation as soon as possible.  Please note that accommodation is not included in the conference fee.

I would like to confirm that my delegate place is booked for the conference?
Please either e-mail events@exportagroup.com or call the events team on Tel: +44 (0)20 8673 9666.  We will be able to confirm this information to you.

I have registered for the conference but I can no longer attend, what can I do?
We suggest that you send a replacement to the conference as we can change a name at no extra cost.  If no one from your organisation can attend, the following cancellation fees apply:

  • Cancellations notified 14 days prior to the event will incur only an administration fee of 10%
  • For cancellations received less than 14 days prior to the event, the full delegate rate must be paid and no refunds are available.

How can I send a replacement delegate to the conference?
A name change can be made at no additional cost.  Please confirm the persons name, job title, address and e-mail address to events@exportagroup.com

I would like to pay by credit card, how can I do this?
To pay by credit card please call the events team on Tel: +44 (0)20 8673 9666 and we will send you a credit card authorisation form for you to complete and return to us.

When do I need to pay?
The conference fee is to be paid before the conference takes place.

Our company is unable to pay prior to the conference due to a delay in our accounts department, what can I do?
Please provide Exporta Group with a credit card number and expiry date which they will use for a guarantee only.  The credit card will not be used unless the payment is outstanding 4 weeks after the conference.

What is the dress code for the conference?
Please wear business attire.

When I can get a copy of the delegate list?
The delegate list will be given to you on the day of the conference.

When can I collect my name badge?
Your badge will be ready for you at the conference.

When will I be able to receive speaker presentations?
All the speaker presentations we receive will be put online prior to the conference. Any missing speaker presentations will be posted on the internet within 3 working days after the conference.

How can I access the speaker presentations online?
You will be sent an e-mail notification when the presentations are available on-line and this will include a password.  After you have received the password please go to www.exportagroup.com, click on ‘Conferences’, then ‘Speaker Papers’, please click on the relevant conference and enter the password. 

I need to obtain a Visa to attend the conference, how can I do this?
You need to contact your local embassy of the country which you would like to visit, and they will be able to advise you how to obtain your visa.  Or if you book through a travel agent they will be able to advise you.

I need a letter from Exporta Group to include with my visa application, how can I get this?
Please e-mail events@exportagroup.com including your full name, address and nationality and we will be happy to send you a letter from Exporta.  Please note that you have to register for the conference and have paid the conference fee before we can send this letter.

I am a delegate from Russia and have been charged for VAT, how do I pay this?
If you are based in Russia we are obliged by your government to charge a rate of 18% VAT on top of the conference fee.  Please pay the conference fee to Exporta and the VAT amount to your government.
