The three Baltic States of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania are now members of the European Union and stand at the crossroads of Scandinavia, Western Europe and Eastern Europe. They are developing into a trading hub for the region and an important transit and port area for goods from Central Asia, the FSU and western, eastern and northern Europe.
Around 95 delegates in all attended.
Both local and outside knowledge and experience were pooled together at this one-day event, which concluded with a networking evening reception for delegates and guests.
