Emerging Markets Trade & Political Risk
London, UNITED KINGDOM | January 16 -17, 2007One Whitehall Place
Event Review
Delegate were treated to a world tour of political and economic risk, followed by solutions on how to identify terrorism risk and insure against political violence. The final afternoon session tackled three very topical subjects - Basel II, bribery and corruption and investment treaties.
A cocktail reception was enjoyed by all for several hours after day one, offering the ideal opportunity to network with friends and colleagues from the market.
Day two addressed Islamic insurance, emerging trends in liquidity, new developments in credit and political risk markets plus an important corporate viewpoint of credit insurance strategies. With two interactive roundtables, the second day caused major debate and discussion.
We very much look forward to welcoming everyone to EMTPR 2008.
