Exporta's 2008 Indian trade and export finance gathering in Mumbai pulled in over 130 attendees.
Exporta's Indian presence has grown alongside the country's own unprecedented boom - from a debut event in 2004 via an expanded conference in 2006 to the present key juncture. Now India"s fastest-ever growth during 2007 is confronted by a slowdown in its main trading partners as well as uncomfortable strength in its own currency. These key issues were debated at the event.
The day included panel discussions on: New directions for structured trade; The future of Indian trade; Global supply chain management: unifying the financial and physical.
