Event Review

emeafinance’s third annual Achievement Awards Charity Dinner was held on June 9 at the London Hilton Tower Bridge hotel.

The ceremony welcomed more than 170 representatives of corporates, banks, multilateral agencies and advisers from across the EMEA region to network and celebrate their efforts and successes from 2009. The event recognised winners of emeafinance’s recent CEE & CIS Bank Awards, Project Finance Awards and Achievement Awards.

The evening’s keynote speech was given by Jan Randolph, head of the sovereign risk group at IHS Global Insight, who discussed the fiscal woes of Greece, their impact on the euro and the likely outcomes.

The dinner was held in support of Unicef, with donations going towards its Schools for Africa initiative and its Unite for Children, Unite Against AIDS campaign. Thank you to those firms that pledged their support.

emeafinance congratulates all of the winners and hopes to see many of them return at next year’s event.

Description

You are invited to join emeafinance at its annual Charity Awards Dinner.

The event marks three award ceremonies. Our annual Achievement Awards recognise the best of the year's corporate transactions in EMEA and the banks and advisers that helped to make them happen. Our Project Finance Awards  celebrate the hard work of sponsors and financiers behind the emerging markets’project finance deals, while the CEE & CIS Banking Awards recognise the leading financial institutions within those regions.

We look forward to welcoming you for an evening of celebrations and the opportunity to network with your peers.
