Event Review

Exporta was proud to host its first Mongolia Workshop, focused on Trade Financing for SMEs, at the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce & Industry in Ulaanbaatar on October 12.

Welcoming strong support from the likes of the ICC Banking Commission and European Bank for Reconstruction & Development (EBRD), the workshop provided an inclusive and comprehensive half-day workshop for local bankers and corporates to hear about the latest trends in providing financing for SMEs and the various options available for facilitating growth.

Split into four separate sessions, the workshop covered important issues such as understanding global trade regulations and documentation, contemporary trade financing initiatives, increasing capital and lending provisions within the local banking market and legal considerations when doing business in international trade.

The workshop was well attended and benefitted from some of the most experienced professionals within the Mongolian trade finance market, all of whom were keen to share their expertise with a willing and attentive audience.

Description

***There is no charge to attend this seminar***

An inclusive and comprehensive half-day workshop for bankers and corporates within the Mongolian business landscape, ideal for those keen to hear all about the latest trends in providing financing for small and medium-sized enterprises and the various initiatives in place to help facilitate business growth.

This workshop will cover four central areas: essential trade regulations and documentation, contemporary trade financing initiatives, increasing capital and lending provisions for SMEs and legal considerations when doing business within the market.

Our trainers are some of the most experienced professionals within the trade and commodity finance sector, keen to show their expertise and market knowledge. The seminar will therefore provide excellent opportunities for interaction, enabling attendees to ask questions on the issues most important to them.

The workshop will take place at the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ulaanbaatar, on October 12, the day before Exporta’s inaugural Mongolia Trade & Commodity Finance Conference at The Chinggis Khaan Hotel. There is no cost for those wishing to attend.
